Wolfburn Father’s Day Release – 58,2%

Zum diesjährigen Vatertag hat Wolfburn wieder eine Sonderedition parat, diesmal limitert auf 1840 Flaschen. Das Small Batch reifte für sieben Jahre in Oloroso Sherry Butts und ex-bourbon Quarter Casks. Es ist die erste lightly peated Abfüllung von Wolfburn in Cask Strength. Dabei ist sie wunderbar cremig und zeigt eine reichhaltige Aromentiefe und -vielfalt.

Die Tasting-Notes
On the nose: Fresh bourbon aromas are softened by sweet sherry essence. Hints of toffee and caramel shine through.
On the palate: Chocolate truffles meet sticky toffee pudding and trifle sponge and the whole mouthful is wonderfully overlaid with gentle hints of peat smoke. A rich and sumptuous dram bursting with flavour.
Finish: Caramel sweetness accompanied with hints of toffee and demerara sugar. A trace of peat remains until the very end, ensuring a beautiful lingering finish.
